Expert Witness Services

Investment Research Partnership was set up with the prime aim of assisting lawyers, trustees, trust companies, pension trustees and private individuals with Expert witness reports. In just a short period of time, we have been active in assisting in a variety of different cases where detailed knowledge and research has aided a claimant where losses have occurred due to investment mismanagement or poor advice. In addition we have been able to highlight aspects of a case which may have been overlooked by less experienced personnel.

We are trained to produce reports to CPD35 standard and follow the rules and guidelines laid down in the Civil Justice Council’s Protocol for the Instruction of Expert Witnesses.

We have experience of mediation and are able to attend court or arbitration hearings if required.

In producing a report we will follow your instructions and where possible provide:-

performance comparison of investment portfolios over specific time periods

risk analysis of investment portfolios and/or assets under management

create alternative model portfolios or composite benchmarks designed to reflect specific investment objectives

an initial case review, followed by

· a detailed case review including additional research and analyst and when the case is ready to proceed through the courts

· an interim and final report produced to CPR 35 requirements and guidelines

We have access to a diverse range of current and historic data covering equities, bonds and indices. This includes data on investment, pension and life funds and over 10,000 market indices.
